What Defines You?

“It is not what you do that defines you… It is who you become, that defines you.”

How so?

To give a definition makes me feel boxed in. My rebellious nature rebels against definitions. Would a definition of who I think I have become, restrict me from being who I really am?

Perhaps the key is in the process of becoming… and not in the act defining, or giving myself a definition of myself.

The process of becoming is a journey, a path that we must tread in order to discover who we truly are in our Essential nature, who we are in our Authentic Self.

Within the process of becoming we go through many changes. Each layer of change reveals something intriguing and interesting. We will discover things about ourselves that will frighten us and repel us, and we will discover things about ourselves that are precious and good.

So what does really define us?

.

I believe it is our responses and our reactions to our life experience, to our current circumstances, to our daily interactions and our relationships that define who we really are.

So how would you like to be defined as a human being?

How would you like to become who you really are, the real you?

Do you know the real you?

Are you aware there is a false self and an authentic self?

Perhaps you already know about the false personality and the real personality… or maybe you never heard of such information like this before! Maybe it is not your thing to discover who you really are! Or maybe you don’t care about such things! I don’t think so though, otherwise why are you here?

Perhaps some questions you could ask yourself are:

“What kind of life would I choose, and love to live?”

“How do I know that I am living from a false personality?”

“How do I know I am living from my Authentic Self?”

“What criteria would I use to measure a life of falsehood or a life of authenticity?”

Would your evaluations be based on how you chose to be in your everyday life and in your daily relationships?

I feel it would be so.

We are the hand on the rudder, steering our ship through the seas of our life. We are the driver in the driving seat. We are the pilot in the pilot’s seat, guiding the plane.

We are responsible for our co-creation with Creation, of our life and for our own ‘process of becoming’.

We are the co-creators of ourselves.

We are becoming who we really are at the very Core of ourselves… our Essence.

We are powerful and amazing divine Beings who are capable of , ‘to BE or not to BE’?

Make some quiet time. Reflect on the questions above. Write your responses, thoughts, feelings in your journal. Doing so is part of the process of making conscious to yourself your process of becoming.

Love to hear about your discoveries, insights and realisations.

I read all your comments.

Loving YOU… from my heart of hearts.
